What Mercato is

Mercato is a public reference for the CS2 market. Look up any item and see what it costs across the marketplaces we track, what it has sold for, and how it connects to the rest of the economy — the collection it belongs to, the case it drops from, the tournament a sticker came from.

What you can do

Browse the whole catalogue from the Market Hub, filter and sort it, and open any item for its price history, its market activity and the marketplaces currently offering it. The Catalog walks the same data by collection, case, weapon, tournament and team.

Where the numbers come from

Prices come from the marketplaces Mercato tracks. Sales history comes from completed Steam market sales. Item names, rarities and relationships come from the game’s own metadata. Every page shows what it knows and says so plainly when it knows nothing — most items have no recorded sales history, and Mercato says that rather than inventing a number.

No account, and nothing to sell you

There is nothing to register for. Mercato is free, takes no payments, and has no paid tier. Some marketplace links are affiliate links, which is how the site is funded; they never change which price is shown as the best one.

Read-only, by design

Mercato never trades, never holds items or funds and never acts on your behalf. It shows you what the market is doing; the decisions are always yours. Mercato will not become a trading bot or a marketplace.
