The rules for using Mercato — in plain language.
Mercato (mercato.gg) is a read-only market intelligence platform for the Steam economy: market data, price history, item relationships and decision-support analysis. Mercato never executes trades, never manages inventories and never performs actions on your behalf on Steam or any marketplace.
All prices, statistics, recommendations, decision zones and analyses are informational. They are not financial, investment or trading advice, and no outcome is promised or guaranteed. Buying and selling decisions — and their results — are entirely yours.
Accounts are created via Steam sign-in. You are responsible for your Steam account's security. You must not use Mercato if doing so violates Steam's own terms as they apply to you. We may suspend accounts that abuse the platform (see Acceptable use). You may stop using Mercato at any time; data deletion is described in the Privacy Policy.
Market data is collected from public sources on schedules constrained by those sources' rate limits. Data may be delayed, incomplete or occasionally wrong; each item profile shows when its data was last collected. Mercato is provided "as is" without warranties of availability or accuracy.
The free plan is free forever. The paid plan (Premium) is shown on the Pricing page but is not yet purchasable — no payments are processed today. When paid plans launch: payments will be processed by Creem, our merchant of record; subscriptions renew automatically until canceled; cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period; a 14-day money-back window applies to a customer's first paid subscription; and exceeding a plan's limits after a downgrade never deletes your data — it only pauses adding more. Plan prices and limits may change; changes never apply to an already-paid period.
Steam, Steam Marketplace, game names, item names, item imagery, logos and all related trademarks belong to their respective owners. Mercato displays them solely for informational purposes. Mercato's own software, design and aggregated datasets belong to Mercato.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mercato is not liable for trading losses, lost profits, or indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the platform. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Material changes will be announced on this page with a new effective date. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
Mercato is operated by sole proprietor Artem Titorenko, Ukraine. Mercato is an independent platform and is not affiliated with Valve Corporation or Steam.
